Michael W. Daughtry's Profile:

I have been around golf since I was about 9 years old. I have enjoyed being successful in all sports which has enhanced my golf ability through the various skills I learned and applied to the game. My game developed to the point that I currently play in numerous tournaments. I hope to continue to get better and advance in the tournament ranks. I also want to learn as much as I can about golf in order to teach and help others enjoy the game as much as I have in my life. I have developed a style of teaching that I call "Fundamentally Comfortable". It is a style that takes your swing as it is and incorporates basic fundamentals into it making it a successful, correct, and repeatable swing for you. I use the concept of 'your swing' because when you get nervous in anything you do the first thing that happens is you revert to what you are most comfortable doing. To add the fundamentals into that comfort zone will enable your game to maintain itself no matter what situation you find yourself. I also stress the importance of the short game and the mental aspect of golf. I believe that you learn a lot about yourself in this wonderful game.
