Tiger Woods Workout - It's Not Magic

Every golfer wants to know Tiger Woods workout program. Since he is the top player in the world and has been for years now, what does he do that allows him to stay the top in the world? Is it some magical exercises that no other golfer does? Is it some secret method that gives him the edge?

I can tell you for sure he is not doing anything you can't do! Your body has the same muscles his do, the only difference is that he has trained his for a LONG time and he is reaping the benefits. How about you?

Tigers workout consists of cardiovascular workouts, core workouts with a medicine ball, he also uses dumbbells and cables to accomplish golf specific exercises that will support his very physical and FAST golf swing.

As you may know by now, he has dealt with a knee injury that will keep him out of the rest of the '08 golf season. This injury is due to the fact that he swings SO hard and snaps that lead leg straight on every shot...especially his driver, that the joint takes all the torque.

So many golfers may now make the excuse that "see Tiger works out and he's now hurt". Well...if you think that will rationalize you not working out...go for it! But the end result is...you MUST workout to "prepare your body to perform". If you don't, you will not be happy with your performance and you will probably be playing with pain.
