Learning a step by step golf swing is one of the easiest ways to improve your golf swing consistency. Finding and sticking to ONE swing method and not jumping around from pro to pro, and tips from every golfer you know is a fantastic way to play better golf.

Step by step can mean many different things to each and every golfer, but what I take from it, is a set routine to make consistent golf shots time and time again. That would be focusing on grip, posture, ball position, takeaway,downswing and maybe impact.

You can also break down a step by step swing into setup, takeaway, downswing, impact and follow through. Either way, it's a system you follow every time you make a golf swing. A method you've perfected that gets you the results you are looking for. Hitting straight shots nearly every time.

This step by step golf swing method should be fundamentally sound. Your golf grip, posture, ball position, should all be as conventional as possible. Don't incorporate funky tips from every golfer you talk to. If you do, you can expect horrible results that are very inconsistent.

A simple golf swing sounds like a pipe dream, but it doesn't have to be once you set up your golf swing method one step at a time. You want it to become repeatable like the back of your hand. No swing thoughts to rely on, just a sound method you've devised that works.
