Releasing The Right Side In Golf Swing

By: Curt Smith

Releasing the right side in your golf swing is not easy to do, and with an out of shape body, it's virtually impossible. In fact, you can take lessons, hit balls and buy new clubs and still not be able to release your right side into a powerful impact position.

To achieve a powerful hip release of your right side requires both strength AND flexibility of not only your hips but your core and your legs. I think by now you should realize how physical the golf swing is and how important it is to get in shape for golf.

Without a body that is flexible and strong you will not be able to achieve the required positions and actions of the golf swing.

Being able to drive your hips in your golf swing is critical to your power and distance. If you can't do this your distance will be miserable and you will not be able to do anything about it.

There's also a sequence of motion that the hips go through during the downswing that puts you into a powerful impact position. If this sequence is not right you will NEVER be able to generate maximum clubhead speed into the ball.

I hope you're starting to see a trend in golf swing improvement. You can no longer expect to play good golf if you're out of shape.

Do you want to discover the secret to creating more power and consistency in your golf swing... AND eliminating ALL your swing faults?
