Nike Drivers

By: Charlotte Metcalfe

Nike have spent almost 50 years getting to know sport, of all kinds and on all levels, inside out and for the last 20 years have been learning what is involved in making golfers great, from shoes to balls and putters to clothing.

Nike knocked the golf world on its head when it produced a driver with the highest MOI (moment of inertia) driver in the game and then increased the MOI to the maximum allowed by golf’s governing bodies, the Royal and Ancient (R&A) and the USGA (United States Golf Association).

With, both, the SQ Dymo driver and the Nike DYMO (dynamic moment of inertia) ST8- fit, Nike have produced drives with traditional clubhead shapes that will appeal to conventional golfers.

Where Nike have turned the golf world on its head is with, both, the SQ DYMO and DYMO ST8-fit, golfers have the option to opt for a square clubhead shape rather than the more conventional pear shaped design that is the more established driver shape.
The Nike drivers have been designed to produce ultra forgiving drivers that will achieve maximum distance, with the satisfying sound when struck that golfing connoisseurs appreciate. The theory behind the squared clubhead shape being that a straighter head will produce a straighter shot and has a larger contact area, thus producing more forgiveness.

However the Nike SQ DYMO STR8-fit does not stop with its radical clubhead shape, but, allows golfers to fine tune every tee shot to either suit prevailing weather conditions, such as crosswinds, or to help correct problems in a golfers driving game. By adjustments that can be made to the positioning of how the shaft and clubhead fits together a golfer can remove problems with slicing and hook shots, whilst giving options on drawing and fading shots to suit individual shots.

Whilst traditionalist may opt for the more conventional because that is what they prefer or that is how a clubface should be, golfers who embrace new technologies within the game of golf and, perhaps, relish the opportunity to tweak their game will love the square drivers from Nike.

Nike drivers, of all shapes, are available from Golfbuyitonline, and, who knows, may be a new profile of golf driver maybe just the very thing to get your golf game into shape.
