Keep Arms To Side Throughout Golf Swing

You may have heard "keep arms to side throughout golf swing"f, which is another term for "staying connected" or swinging in a "one-piece" motion, where the arms are married to the body throughout a big percentage of the golf swing.

In reality the arms stay to the side for only a short part of the swing, but it is a critical part that can allow you to generate a lot of clubhead speed, power and distance. Also, keeping your arms that close to your side and swinging a golf club takes core strength.

If you core is weak or inflexible, you will not be able to achieve this swing tip, and if you try, you will only get frustrated and not enjoy golf anymore.

So...to keep your arms to your sides throughout your golf swing, you should incorporate some stretching and strengthening exercises for your core specific to your golf swing.
