Golf Posture. Your golf swing set up (posture) dictates your outcome on every shot. If you have improper posture, your swing gets started incorrectly, causing mishits and inconsistent shots.

Grip. Your golf grip is the only contact you have with the club. Get it wrong and your clubface will never hit the ball squarely. Get it right, and you've got a much better chance at hitting solid shots.

Ball Position. Your ball position dictates how your going to come into the ball. Or, otherwise your ball contact. If this ball position is off just an inche, you will either hit your shots fat, thin, top it or chunk it.

Getting golf swing instruction you can trust is critical when you're first learning how to swing a club. Get a bad instructor and your doomed. Get some referrals, then interview these instructors to find the best fit.

You want "conventional" instruction and not some whacky new method. Avoiding gimmicky tips will keep you on the right track with your golf swing improvement.
