Your grip will quickly determine your ball flight. Whether it's a slice or a hook, you'll know very early on what's wrong with your grip. Once you get a correct golf grip, you will immediately see a straighter ball flight without any other change in your golf swing.

Learning to master golf grip technique will be instant gratification on the golf course. It's amazing how many golfers grip the club the club incorrectly and then wonder why they hit bad golf shots.

Line up 100 golfers and you see some variation in grip with all of them. So what's that mean? It means you've got a little room to fudge. You don't have to EXACTLY grip it a certain way if it just absolutely feels uncomfortable. There is no perfect golf grip, but the grips of the great golfers in history look very similar.
