Fat Loss For Golfers

By: Curt Smith

This may sound strange, but fat loss for golfers is a topic that's gaining traction among the golfing population. Losing weight is on the minds of not only golfers, but our growingly over weight society.

Lose Fat Not Pounds

Here is a big misconception! Losing weight on a scale means absolutely nothing! I hate to burst your bubble, but throw your scale away for good. Do you want to know the cheapest bodyfat test you can take?

It's your belt!

That's right...when you "go on" your diet (meaning you'll soon go off it) you should make not of the notch it's in now, and if it goes down as you progess through your fat loss program. This is no "BS". If it stays the same, you have most likely not lost much fat. Losing weight for golf doesn't have to be that hard!

Losing weight on a scale only means the number has gone down, not necessarily your bodyfat. The human body can lose 5 pounds of water weight just through calorie-deprivation.

Calories In - Calories Out

That's your equation for permanent fat loss for golfers. Eat in moderation and increase your activity so you are burning more than you are taking in. You will LOSE FAT FAST if you do this.

I'm not talking about a diet, deprivation or something you can's sustain for the rest of your life. I'm talking about modest "adjustments" in your food choices and physical activity. Becoming a lean golfer will be easy!

Take a look at everything you put in your body. Do you think it is high-octane fuel, or poison to your body! Example; sugar is poison, fruit and vegetables are premium grade fuel.
