Best Exercise For Golf Swing

By: Trent

The best exercise for golf swing power is one that must be as golf-specific as possible and with resistance. This resistance can be exercise tubing, a medicine ball, dumbbells, or even a weighted golf exercise club. Either way, it has to mimic your golf swing exactly.

Don't waste your time going to the gym and using their machines. This is NOT golf-specific and will NOT improve your golf swing power and distance. You must train your body specific to the sport (or game) your doing to see fast and effective improvement.

So with that being said, get some exercise tubing with handles and a door attachment, and attach it to the top of a door and shut the door. Grab both handles, turn sideways to the door and get in your golf posture. Get far enough from the door to create good tension in the tubing. So much so, that your hands holding the tubing in your golf posture should be at least shoulder high.

Now just make your golf swing. This will be your downswing movement with resistance. You would maintain your golf posture, and pull both handles down and through impact.

Let the handles come back up and repeat 10-15 more times. This is an outstanding exercise for golf swing power. You can do this golf exercise anywhere! In your home, office, and even while traveling in your hotel room.

Can you now see how easy it is to improve your golf swing power with simple exercises that can actually be fun? I know for many, exercise is work and they just won't do it. Well, how about making it fun and getting results?
