A Few Principles That Will Radically Change Your Game Of Golf, Part 2

Several veteran golfers say that golf is more of a game for the mind. Assuming this is true, little tweaks on the manner a golfer approaches golf will go a long, long way in quickly improving his game. Here are more mental strategies that can magnificently change the the manner by which a golfer plays the sport.
Do not allow the golf course to control you; control the golf course! Many beginners in the game of golf are intimidated by the humongous area of the golf course. Picture the 59 holes of the Legend Golf and Country Club and you'll get an idea of the aforementioned intimidation. Here's a vital golf tip: golf is not a linear game. Just because the golf course is as big as an island country doesn't mean you will pee on your pants and wish for the darkness of evening. There is more than one way to skin a cat, as the saying goes, and there there are several ways to aid you to put the ball to the hole, no matter how far that hole may be. Abandon the mindset of hitting the ball from point A to point B, as an illustration, you can proceed to hit the same to your sweet spot, that area where your shots never seem to fail, where your game is at its peak. Such may not be the shortest distance to the hole, but it most certainly is the surest. Force your will on the golf course and get the best from your game.
The physical game of golf has 2 aspects. Remembering that golf if actually composed of 2 distinct physical games will go a long, long way in improving the way you analyze the sport, and in effect, the the manner by which you play the game. Several golfers practice only for a single game in the physical aspect of the sport, and their neglect of the other game is the cause of their undoing. Golf is composed of these 2 physical games:
1. The game played between you, the tee and the green. This is the aspect of golf that is perfected by all those hours spent in the driving course.
2. The putting game. This is the game played on the putting surface with a putter, when the ball needs that little, last hit to lead it to the hole. You have to prepare differently for this than from the previous game.
Always be remind these lessons and the sport will become a more enjoyable - if not a simpler - game.
